A TIMELINE OF OUR HISTORY
2023
A new Executive Director was hired last August 2023 and supervised by Rev. Fr. Frederick C. Comendador, OSA, University President and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of USARDFI . The E.D. reports to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Rev. Fr. Andres Rivera Jr., OSA.
Reimagining USARDFI through Appreciative Inquiry was introduced to the BoT. The Annual Unit Operations Plan and Budget for Fiscal Year 2024 was approved during the BoT Meeting last December 8, 2023.
The official logo of USARDFI was created through a Logo Making Contest and was launched last December 1, 2023 during the KaSanAg sang Paskwa event.

Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws were amended to address the concerns brought about by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Emergency Response to Typhoon Odette was supported by USARDFI in collaboration with CHIC, SACEO and ORGR

An Executive Director and Grants Assistant was hired to do full time work for USARDFI on grants acquisition.
1987

USARDFI was incorporated in 1987. The Articles of Incorporation and By-laws were amended based on need and context by the Board of Trustees. USARDFI provided support in terms of scholarships and funds to the eight advocacies of the University of San Agustin for students, faculty and staff.
1986
USARDFI has existed for 37 years. It was founded by the Augustinian Friar Administrators assigned at the University of San Agustin under the Augustinian Order of the Province of Sto. Nino de Cebu, Philippines. In 1986, the University President was Fr. Mamerto Alfeche, OSA, who was one of the founding members of this non-stock, non-profit corporation. The principal office of USARDFI is at the University of San Agustin, Brgy. San Agustin, Gen. Luna St., Iloilo City.
